My Favorite – Mexican Coffee

Ingredients

6 tablespoons Fresh Ground Coffee (I Like Columbian!)

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon chili powder

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 tablespoon confectioner’s sugar

Dash of ground cinnamon (optional)

Directions

In small bowl, mix together the first five ingredients. Place into the brew basket of your coffee pot and brew as normal (Rich Brew if you have that option).

While coffee is brewing, whip heavy cream with confectioner’s sugar in small bowl until firm peaks form. When coffee has finished brewing, pour yourself a cup in your favorite mug, add a heaping dollup of the whipped cream and top with a dash of ground cinnamon.

Now, let’s sit down for a nice chat!!! That’s the last ingredient to the perfect cup of coffee!

  1. I will definitely try this recipe, but I may need to add a tad bit of sugar 🙂

    1. Try to mix in the heavy cream first. It has the sugar in it. But if you like it extra sweet, go for it!!! Let me know what you think. I love the little spice!!

  3. This sounds delicious. I’m going to scale it down for my Keurig! A pinch of this and a pinch of that with Rwanda and Tanzania coffees we received at gifts!! ❤
